I'm a newbie. I have given many powerpoint presentations in my lectures with a traditional laptop and traditional LCD projectors. I once tried to view powerpoint for WIN CE on the LCD projector but was disappointed that the screen only filled half of the projector (thus the half vGa?)

I am asking if this problem of half of a vga has been solved with the newer VGA IPAQs (4700/4705). In other words, I'd like a powerpoint presentation to be almost indistinguishable between a lap top and a PDA with a mid level resolution slide set (mainly text).

Thanks in advance.

Dell Axim x51v (or older x50v if you can find them) may be more suitable, you will only need additional vga out cable, and buit-in powerpoint viewer will give you 640x480 resolution. 3rd party viewer such as Clearvue may even give you higher resolution.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Does this mean I will get a full LCD screen worth of the slide? But at 640 x 480 (like the on screen resolution)?

Thanks again.

Yes, wm2003se and above models allow you to have andscape screen resolution natively.
