Hi,
I have several applications listed in the Start dropdown menu which I would like to delete.
Applications such as "Terminal Services Client/ Pocket MSN/ MSN Messinger, etc.
I have made sure that those apps. are unchecked in "Settings-Menu"
I have also soft re-set the iPAQ 2410 after that but nothing seems to help.
After looking through previous posts it seems that it's not possible to remove some of those applications?
If so, will they be there for ever or will they disappear after a certain length of time?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

The applications you mentioned are stored in ROM and part of operating system. They cannot be deleted and will always be there. Generally if you don't see the program listed in Start - Setting - System tab - Remove Programs, then you cannot uninstall them. You can delete the shortcut to the programs by going in to File Explorer and browse to Windows/Start Menu folder and tap and hold on the shortcut, you will see option to delete.

Thanks for your help, AnswerDude.
I was able to delete some of the shortcuts the way you have suggested it.
Unfortunately, Therminal Services Client and the others are not listed in File Explorer-Windows-Start Menu. So, I guess I'm stuck with those shortcuts....
Anyway, I sure appreciate your help as always.
