as my title says, and sorry if this is in the wrong place, well i currently am using a sidekick 2, and i'm interested in replacing it with the T-Mobile MDA, i was wondering if anybody can tell me their experience with it and how it performs, i already reviewed it on many sites but i just have a couple of questions too, and thanks in advance for replying.

How is the browser speed?

i'm used to the slow browser of the sidekick 2 and not being able to view videos or flash on websites such as youtube.com

Is the processor really that slow?

i never had any experience with any pda's until my sidekick2 so i'm still a little confused on processor speeds

again thanks for replying this

I think the cpu speed is not the only factor. MDA has comparable cpu (a little bit on the slow side) compare to same type of unit such as Verizon xv6700. It's also depended on the type of data connection you have, if your area has EGDE the speed will be acceptable, i think it should be faster than sidekick. But still don't expect the same experience as browsing on the desktop, you will have to scroll more because of the smaller screen and Pocket Internet Explorer does have less features and funtions than the desktop's. There's Flash plugin and commercial 3rd party browsers such as Opera and Netfront that may perform better than built-in one, but you may still have difficulty wth some sites. I'm not sure if you've seen this review;

p.s also do you know where i can find out if my area has EDGE enabled? i tried searching the tmobile site and it only shows coverage for signal strength not EDGE
