I am pretty much puzzled right now and don't know what to do. I am trying to browse internet on my ipaq, using the connection from my laptop(broad band), while my my ipaq is sitting in the cradle.
Here is what happening when I do this:
1. I select Internet Explorer in the Programs
2. I go to address bar and type http://www.yahoo.com or http://www.google.com.
3. My GPRS window pops out and start looking for internet connection(I don't want to use the GPRS) and shows my cell service provider.
4. Internet Explorer notification comes out saying that "the page cannot be found"
5. I press OK and then ActiveSync disconects my ipaq for some reason(although it is still in the cradle)
How do I get this fixed and get to access the internet while ipaq is cradle through laptop? I was able to do this on my old IPAQ 3635! How do I disable the GPRS connectivity?
