Corrupt Categories Database

I had another one of the (in)famous non-erasable categories this week. As advised elsewhere, I installed Phatware dB. I deleted the rogue, and now the "more" function in the tasks list has ceased to function.

Any ideas on how to remedy the situation short of a complete re-build?
