Is there anyone here that's uploaded DynoJet Power Commander III (PCIII) maps using a Sony Clie?
The process was tested by DynoJet using a PalmV and a serial HotSync cable and the software is free. So support is limited for Palm PDA's and nonexistent for non-Palm PDA's.
My situation is that I can get the map files from my desktop computer to the DynoJet software installed on the Clie just fine. Problem is I cannot get the Clie and the PCIII to communicate when I attempt to load a map to the PCIII. I am using the pinned-out null modem adapter supplied by DynoJet. As this was developed for a Palm, what do you think the likihood is that the pin-outs would be different for a Sony Serial HotSync cable verses a Palm serial HotSync cable?
If anyone is curious about this file-transfer-to a-third-party-device conundrum would like me to, I can send a longer, more explanatory e-mail describing the scenario if you want to put your brain cells to work on it.
TIA!!
