Orange M500/humble Problem Solving Request

today i switched on my m500 and the mobile started and i could see that window xp was downloading but windowns xp kept on dowloading,and nothing happened,it got stuck their with windons xp logo .i waited fr 4 hours but still it kept on loading

after 4 hours i re booted it hard and kept on pressing the switch on button fr 20 sec and at the same time inserted the pin in re bootong button
my mobile re booted but i lost all my data
could u plz let me know
why this happened and how can i overcome this problem in future

I'm not sure what your model is, i don't know any orange pda that run Windows XP. But generally the problem can be software conflicts, Did you install any new software recently. And in the future, backup your unit (there should be a backup program on the unit) or sync it to the desktop on a regular basis, it will not take long, so if you have to do a hard reset, you will be able to restore your data back.
