My wife suprised me with an Ipaq 1955 and I am looking to use it for GPS as well. I have seen the GPS devices out that use bluetooth to connect to the reciever. Is there anything else that can be used or anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

I use a bluetooth receiver with tomtom and it works very very well, the one thing i do like is when i start tomtom it automatically turns the bluetooth on and turns it off when i close tomtom, saves me doing it manually. Most the other software you have to turn bluetooth on first then start your software.

The good thing with the bluetooth ones is it can be put anywhere, well nearly, i.e you can put the receiver in the sunvisor or even the glovebox and no one can see it.

Unfortunately iPAQ rx1955 does not have bluetooth capability built-in (only wifi).
