With EE blackberry, using the exchange redirector, can I run the redirector on a desktop in the office, and have him sync via the cradle on his laptop?

I have heard of this causing problems with the encryption keys.
I dont have a cradle on the machine running the redirector, so he can't sync directly with that machine. He has the cradle on his laptop, so he can sync at his desk or from home, and charge it wherever he is.

Will this work?

This will work flawlessly. Frankly, everything, including the encryption keys are stored on the Exchange server. The Desktop Manager just makes a link to it via MAPI. You will experience no problems at all.

Yes, even with no BES. The desktop redirector acts like a mini-BES and turns your desktop in to the server.
