Just purchased a TX and headphones, and am using Pocket Tunes v3.0.9. For some reason, the headphones will only play through the left channel - can't see where there is an option to change from mono to stereo for example. Same problem when running TCPMP, when I adjust the balance to the right or change to mono settings, the right channel is still dead.
the headphones work fine with my laptop etc. - does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

Are you certain that the headphone plug is going all the way into the TX's jack? Some don't because they are too fat.

Yes, I messed around with putting the plug in at different depths thinking it wasn't contacting on the one channel - no luck. It is quite a small plug so believe it is going far enough through the jack..Either it isn't contacting properly (unusual for a new unit) or it is a software problem, I think it is the latter. What is the best way to reload the audio software, or is the hard reset option the way to go?

I'm going to ask, perhaps obvious question, are you sure that the headphones are stereo? There should be 3 connections separated by 2 rubberized gaskets.
The next thing I'd do is a simple softreset and not a full hard reset. There shouldn't be anything that would require a hard reset of the device unless the device actually has a hardware failure of one channel....which in any event wouldn't be fixed by a hard reset.
Next suggestion is to confirm my question above by getting a known good set of stereo headphones and trying them in the TX.
