How to update 568 to 2002

Can the Jornada 568 be updated to pocket pc 2002? If so what do I need & how is it done?

Go to www.microsoft.com, there is a link to update WinCE(2000) to WinCE(2002). Very easy, You only need to download 9Mb.

I've seen the upgrade available for the Ipaq, which MS wants $30 to order the CD. I have not seen an upgrade specifically for the Jornada.

I too have a 568, and am wondering what is significantly different with any potential upgrade to PPC 2002.

The link below is a chart that compares what is available on the Ipaq upgrade as compared to what the unit originally ships with. There is not a big difference between the two. There's even a thing or two listed there that was already included with the 568.

Isn't the 568 a Pocket PC 2002 device anyway? I wasn't aware it was also a 2000 device. Are you not talking about the EUU3? Forgive my ignorance if I'm wrong.

hey guys, I think you can update hp568 from 3.0 to 2002 by EUU3, which u can download from iPAQ website.
I am using hp 565, the same system as 568, I update it a couple days ago by EUU3. It works good so far, I do not see any problem yet.

Or else u can update EUU2( u can get from hp 568 update from HP website) first, then do EUU3.

You can just download the Firmware and EUU2 update from HP Website. Just follow the intructions out there and done!!

The process won´t take more than 15 minutes.

My HP Jornada 568 came with "Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 Software" as stated on the top panel of my box. I don't see a need to upgrade if you have a 568.
