hi all! i'm new here so hello to all. i'm helping a friend check out which phone-pda to buy cos he tends to drop his stuff very often. please help out. thanks.

It's probably easier and cheaper to just choose the phone he want and get a hard protective case for it. You should be able to find hard case inexpensively for most pda models. They usually are made from aluminum and provide decent protection without adding much bulk or weight to the unit.
