Hello All

Just a short note to ask a bizarre question.....

We have a few corporate IPaQ’s. The email on the IPaQ’s will be pickup by via imap4 from our exchange 5.5 server which i have configured ok.

Users dial up users connect to our mail server via a vpn connection.

We have a uunet (worldcom) global internet dial up access which is configured ok & works...here is the problem

While connected to the uunet internet connection I can't connect to the corporate mail exchange server via vpn. Our vpn is a secure vpn and require authentication (it does NOT use socks!!!) However the vpn security credentials are DIFFERENT to the internet logon credentials and basically my question is (finally, I hear you say!)

How do I add independent security details to the IPaQ vpn connection?

I have a IpaQ HP3900

Thanks for looking at this,

Adrian

What type of VPN are you running on the server? If you are using basic Microsoft vpn(PPTP), pocketpc has a built in client, here's addtional info:
http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/getstarted/tutorials/connectionmanager/lan_vpn.asp

But if you are using L2TP or IPSec such as cisco vpn, you may need additional 3rd party client such as this:
http://movianvpn.com/index.html
or
http://www.funk.com/ipsec/default.asp
