My Tungsten T screen seems to have died, well, sort of. The screen is showing numerous vertical lines, then miraculously, it works for a while, then just lines again. Mostly it doesn't work. Hard boot doesn't help. Any ideas if this is user fixable? I live in Australia and haven't checked yet if there is somehere to send it to be repaired, if that is even possible. Thanks for the help, folks.

Hi evergreen and welcome to the board. I found this on the Palm, Inc. site. It is customer, technical and repair support in Australia.

I hope this helps.

Heather, thanks for the link. For others' reference, here is the key description of Palm's service:
"In the Asia Pacific region, Palm offers 90 days of complimentary telephone Technical Support on most Palm-branded products from the date of first contact. After 90 days, telephone Technical Support is available for US$12 per incident."
I have to say I am pretty disappointed with this policy. Although my Palm is couple years old, I think Palm should at least take phone calls for free - at least during the 1 year warranty period. Charging just to take a phone call is insulting. On top of that, any repair at all costs A$185. These days you can get a I-Mate Jamin (RRP$785) for FREE from Telstra, which is exactly what I have now done.
Still, I'd like to repair the Palm if anyone has a suggestion of how I could try to do so. Thanks for the help :)
