Address Synchronization

My sony Clie somehow lost all of its addresses and other information. When I attempt to Hot Sync my information between my Clie and Desktop, it syncs everything accept my Address book. When I look at the custom settings it shows up as "Intellisync Address" instead of just "Address" like the date book and mail are shown. Does anyone know what my problem may be regarding this. Please let me know.

I believe Intellisync is the software that comes on the Palm Desktop CD with the Sony Clies - it's for syncing with Outlook. First guess is that Hotsync is syncing Datebook and To-do with Palm Desktop but trying to sync Addresses with Outlook. Can you not change that from the Hotsync icon?

go into the hotsync mannager in the taskbar and see if the adressbook is enabled

He explained that already. Nick is likely correct. You are syncing everything but the address book to Palm Desktop and the address book to Intellisync. I would simplly reinstall the Sony CD and pay careful attention to all 4 check boxes on the screen that asks which databases you want to sync; date, address, todo, memo. Good luck
