Installing Hotsync to use with Bluetooth

I've read some of the other posts here regarding how to Hotsync over Bluetooth. My question is do I have to install the Hotysnc software whilst using the cradle first of all or can I use Bluetooth right from the start. I ask because I am using the cradle at work and BT at home and I would prefer not to have to drag the cradle home with me if I can help it.

Yes, you can hotsync via bluetooth immediately.

What you do is to set up your TT to access your bluetooth computer via a virtual serial port on your computer and then you set up the hotsync on your computer to do a serial hotsync against this virtual serial port.

Please note though that the speed of bluetooth hotsyncing is very much slower than the speed og USB hotsyncing.
