I am sharing my desktop software with another palm user (my daughter) with an m105 while I use my m500. I don't want her info using space on my palm (and vice-versa) and I don't want her to be able to access my desktop/palm files/data when I hotsync. I don't need encryption but the password seems to only offer limited security for the assigned palm user(me). Any clues how can I keep our data absolutely seperate and secure from each other?

You are right in thinking that the desktop password isn't very secure. Anyone can go directly into the c:\palm files and look at your data. The files open with notepad on the windows machines. Not secure at all. I discovered that even records marked "private" display when the files are viewed with notepad. I now use SplashID to keep all personal information personal, such as insurance numbers, etc. I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions on how to keep them personal, unless you want to try password protecting the folders the files are stored in.
