How to send data to my Nokia 6210

I have an iPAQ 3800 (CE3.0) and a Nokia 6210 cell phone. I can connect via IrDA OK but I assume that in order for my phone to be able to handle the incoming data that I need to run some filtering/conversion software on my PDA?
All I want to be able to do is to beam the odd appointment or note to the calander in my phone (for when I only want to carry my phone. I have no idea where to begin to search for the software.
Any help much appreciated.

I have the same mobile workd very well

what network on you on Vodafone or 02
are you in the UK
are you setup for data (SIM card)
Vodafone in the UK do not have high speed data, do have
GPRS. Not sure how this works with POP email.
