Hiding Graphiti Area

This is probably a stupid question but... how do you hide the graphiti writing area? The little blue down arrow button that's supposed to do it is ALWAYS greyed out. Anyboday have any ideas?

First you have to know if you're running a virtual graffiti compatible software.

Here are some examples of them:

-Bug me
-Kinoma video player (very good one, and it's freeware)
-Megacalc
-Acid Solitaire (also very good)
