Once again, being a new Palm OS convert and still not having my Axim in hand yet, I am a little confused as to the software I can download. Although my Axim is a couple of weeks away, I have begun downloading some software for it. However, I keep running across sites that specify different types of software for Pocket PC's. I am aware that the Axim uses the X-scale processor but my question is whether or not it will run software designated for use by Strongarm processors? If not, then software selection seems quite limited.

I've received my Axim X5 (300MHz) yesterday and all of the ARM applications I installed until now seem to work fine. The only problem so far was with a WindowsCE app that made me force a "warm" reboot.
It is compatible with anything program made to run on an ARM device. Although naturally there are some programs only designed for certainly PPC's such as ipaq, so it won't run on the Dell. The X-scale processor has an ARM emulator.

Thanks, that's the answer I was hoping for.
