HP iPaq Hw6515 et SD CARD 2GB (SD 1.1)

Hi,

I own an iPaq Hw6515 and I just bought a 2GB sd card. The brand is Extrememory (German brand, I live in Munich, Germany).

Each time I switch on my PDA, it ask me to format the sd card. I format the card and it seems to be OK but I don't see the card.

So, I sent a mail to Extrememory and they respond in 1 hourm not too bad ...
They said me that the proble would be related to the iPaq. In fact, to use a 2GB sd card, the PDA's reader should be comptatible with SD 1.1 or MMC 4.1. Do you know if the hw6515 is comptatible with these two norms?

I updated my ROM version to 1.23 but nothing changed.

Do you have a solution to me?

Have you tried soft-reset the iPAQ with the card inside? What file type did you choose when you formated it? And can you verify that the card is working properly, perhaps if you have usb card reader on the desktop, check if you can see the card or perhaps format it on the desktop (use FAT16 or FAT32).

Yes, I tried a soft reset with the card inside, it doesn't change anything.
The card was formated in FAT16.

I also tried to access the card with a laptop and a card reader and it works fine. I also tested the card with a digital camera and everything works.

I don't understand why the PDA refuse to read the card.
