My Q no longer routes audio to auto navigation cradle external speaker. It charges from it, and the same happens on a second nav craddle.
I tried a soft reset, haven't tried hard reset yet. I did clean the contacts on both Q and cradle.
Is there a setting that could somehow cause this?

The question is did you lose all your navigational audio? Can you still hear the directions when not in the cradle? If you don't you will need to reload your audio files from the setup disk.

I can hear the audio on the Qs internal speaker whether in or out of the cradle if I hold the GPS button. I then get typical audio messages such as "Searching for Sat.", "Ready to navagate", "GPS is off", etc.
I can't hear any audio at all on the external speaker of navigation kit.

If you have any mp3's loaded on your iQue do they play through the Nav cradle? Also, I assume the engine is running at the time or it is in accessory mode. I believe it needs to be powered for the audio to be heard.

All audio including MP3 plays only thru the internal speaker only. Yes power is applied to the nav unit cigarette lighter plug and the fuse within is good.
