Search the C: drive for a folder with the name of your device. In Windows 2000 and XP, this would be "C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Profiles\<device name>." Move all files except repl.dat to a temporary directory and try syncing again.

Hi stevemw,
thank you for your reply.
I tried the path you gave me. But in that folder, there is only repl.dat file, no other file is appear or hidden.
What kind of file am I suppose to see there? is there any other way you can suggest?
Thanks again
Daniel

I just got a e-mail from Ipaq technical support.
They gave me couple of ways to solve my problem.
1) remove the ActiveSync by Add And Remove Program, then reinstall again.
if the problem still exist:
2) do the "soft reset", which is press the buttom at the bottom of your device with stylus
if still not helping:
3) do the "hard reset", which is press and hold two programmable buttoms, the Calendar and the Task, for 5 second, then press the soft reset bottom with the stylus at the same time. After then, the device will turn off. At this point , you need to turn on your device by plug in back to the cradle.
Note that : hard reset will delete all your data in your device, just like a reformat on PC.
I know that there are many people has the same problem as mine and I hope anyone can solve it!
In my case, I need to do the hard reset to have it done
Good luck
Daniel :D

Unfortunately I have been having similar problems and have been able to resolve them by deleting all but the repl.dat (which keeps track of what has aleady been synced, I suppose). Lately I've had to delete this file also (syncing takes much longer with this file missing but it does allow an successful sync).
You might take a look at your sync setting on the host pc -- make any changes while the ipaq is off the cradle.
