A newbie question (what to buy??)

I am very new to gps. I thought that I had my mind made up on the Garmin Streetpilot i3, but then I ran across the Garmin iQ M3 pda/gps. Wow this one looks good from what I have been able to assess. I was hoping to get advise on what would be the better buy. Also is the extended antannae recomended?

Extended antena helps in big cities with skyscrapers. Other than that you are fine.
I'm afraid people here may not be familiar with streetpilot.

Other than that you are fine.
That depends on where you are. I do very well with the built-in antenna here in Florida, but when using the iQue 3600 in Northern Europe it has helped a great deal to have the external antenna.
