Do PPC Photo Viewer apps display photos better than Pocket Internet Explorer?
I've discovered Pocket Internet Explorer can serve as a 'no feature' photo viewer and that's all I need for 4 family photos. Quality is disappointing on my 3845 though. Pix were taken w/ a 3.2 megapixel Sony camera and look great on the desktop PC.

The PPC iPaq viewer has no user feasibility. Not friendly. I would recommend using something like ACDSee. You have to pay, but they are good for displaying images.

I like these 2 pictures viewers.
PQView, full featured, may be evaluated for free.

Peter's Viewer. small, powerful, lots of feature and free

Tried 'Peter's Viewer'. Seemed to auto-install OK but there was no icon to run it from in 'Programs'. Tapping the .Exe file from File Explorer would not start the app either.
Developer said the app is discontinued & unsupported for about a year.

I use Peter's Viewer on my 3835 and it works fine. But, I also use iZotope Photonshow; find it <here> (http://www.izotope.com/products/photo/photonshow/photonshowsintro1.html). You will need to scroll down to the Pocket PC link.
I just use the free limited version because I just use it for viewing pics, but the full version has more capability if you're interested.

It created another folder icon on your programs folder. Under accessory if I'm not mistaken.
