Hi

Just upgraded from palm vx to lifedrive (dropped the vx into the pool after MANY years of faithful service :mad: )

I am having trouble with syncing contacts with 3rd party counduit (agent office). I have checked their web site and followed all instructions but no changes to problem. Fix all (http://www.fidelitymlssolutions.com/mambo/index.php?option=com_content&task=viewkb&id=44690&Itemid=0 )

The first sync after hard reset, loads onto the pda properly but takes twice as long as the vx ever did. The any subsequent syncs fail. I've updated to lifedrive2, uninstalled and reinstalled both palm othe 3rd party software, deleted and recreated users. Ive tried everything in Solution ID: 32647 'Connection is lost (6410)' (http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=33,E=0000000000435657466,K=3036,Sxi=0,useTempl ate=Case.tem,CASE=32647)

Running out of ideas, and got to get ditital life back together !!!

To myself, only for the benefit of any others.

Seems Agent office is not compatable with palm 5.4.7 os. Earlier os is ok.

The only way I can get it to function is for agent to over right the palm for the contacts, and make "changes" only through calander, which sycs fine. So any "contact changes" I make through a schedule note and manually do on the desktop, a bit painful, but I am stuck with this until they develope a patch.

If you are upgrading your palm os to use with agent office , make sure you check that they (fnf) have updated their software, or stick to a device with the earlier os.
