For all TX users reading this thread, please post whether your LCD screen is off-centered or not. Thanks! :)

Does anyone see light escaping on the side of their screen?

Ooh... That's rather odd... Lemme check mine.

As a matter of a fact i do!!!

I never noticed!

It's only on the right as well, not the left (like in your pictures).

This is very very odd...

I'm not sure whether to thank you or not because you pointed out a fault :p

Is your vertical line of light as visible as mine? I noticed mine the first time I turned it on because I don't need to tilt the unit to see it. As you can see in the last few photos, the LCD screen is physically off-center. So yours looks off-center, but to the right?

Anyone else? I wish I knew how common this problem is.

Mine is like that although probably not quite as bad. Hard to compare a picture to the real thing. I have taken mine apart with intentions of centering the screen more perfectly but have found that it would be impossible. The screen fits very precisely in a cavity and cannot be moved.
