Hello! I have a Garmin GPSMap 60cx. I want to purchase City Navigator NA Vers 8 NT. Should I purchase on DVD and buy a 2GB microsd seperately or should I purchase the pre-loaded microsd. Obviously the pre-loaded is a bit cheaper but I'm wondering if it would be better to buy seperate in case anything happens to the card I can always reinstall from the DVD. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!
Cant you buy the pre-loaded and back it up?

50% of the DVD's use, is to view the maps in Mapsource on the PC.
You can plan routes at your leisure on the large screen of the PC, save them, and transfer them to the unit. This way you see clearly the strange routes that occur, change them before loading.
50% of the DVD's use is to load it into the unit and still have a backup.
Compare those benefits with the pre-loaded micro SD card!
How easy is it to update the mapping software?
