I have recently upgraded to Windows Mobile 5.0 and since doing so, I am having lockup issues when I use my Garmin GPS 10. From what I can gather, Activesync is starting on my phone when I use the the mapping software and it seems to be causing a conflict with the O/S. I have contacted Windows and Garmin and of course I am in the old "it's the other guys problem and not ours" from both. If I look at the bluetooth icon for the garmin, it is a picture of the question mark which seems to indicate that Windows cannot identify what the applciation is. I am thinking that because of that, windows tries to sync with the device and that is what is causing the problem. btw I have disabled activesync from the activesync setup menu. If anyone has any ideas please let me know as I really like the GPS unit, but I may have to abandon it if I cannot resolve.

Make sure you download the updated software from garmin that will work with wm5. I had the same problem using the disk that came with my gps unit and had to download the newer software. You will also need to use comm port 7 for gps 10. Hope this helps.
