Would anyone know if the netbook/5mx is capable of send and receiving faxes using the phones IR port connection?

My T610 is on it's way out

The P910i can be used as an IR fax modem, and Psions can send faxes via an IR modem... so it should work (famous last words). :)

I know in theroy it should work, However the phone is very exspensive - I just wanted to see if anyone who owns a P800 or P900 series model can and is actually doing so. (sending and receiving faxes)

From what I read, I see people using the phone to connect to the web and sending and receiving emails - but nothing is mention about using the phones modem/ir port for faxing with the netbook

My T610 & T68 works flawlessly until I've broken them - I can get another T610 but I seem to be impress by these other styles P800/P900 models

any input here will help
