Am I Missing Something Here?

I have an iPaq 3835 and love it.

I have noticed something weird however.

Intermittantly, when I am closing an application by hitting the X in the upper right, for some reason the iPaq screen just shuts off. Am I accidentally hitting a shortcut that turns the iPaq screen off?
I have 90%+ on the battery.

You might be hitting the button at the time the screen is scheduled to shut down due to inactivity.
