I'm looking for a durable PDA i can play games on and organize and take down notes. Uh.. I'm looking for a price range of 200 to 400 canadian. Windows CE Sounds nice because i can play lotsa games on it, but my top three choices were palm m505, cassiopeia be-300 or m500. And also why is palm m500 still up while palm m505 is considered an old model?

m505 is color (kind of dim). m500 is B/W
The m505 has a dedicated video chip, which would be better for fast moving games:

Are you sure you don't want a WinCE for games?

Yes, I'm looking for a well priced PDA. Perferably WinCE, but my budgets won't allow me. I'm looking for a PDA that cost me about 200 to 400 dollars canadian. When i looked at Cassiopeia BE-300, i found out it had better processor, and memory! I'm really confused about this... Well, Thanks again!

the reason ppcs have more memory and processor power is because they need it. Palm OS is so much more efficient, it doesn't need a 300 mHz processor or 64 mb of memory. Palm OS can do just as well with 33mHz and 8 mb.

That is right. Palm OS is a more efficient system. Also the customer support by Palm is great. And there is a wide variety of software for palm OS.
I know I am talking like a car dealer, But I would prefer a Palm.

Hi, I just cant seem to decide! Just two minutes ago i saw Axim X5 from dell. Is it still better to buy a palm m505 or a dell Axim X5? This is really hard!

I'd appreciate being enlightened on the following points about the m515:
1. How loud is the speaker compared, say, with the Sony Clie and the Visor Prism?
2. How is the screen display outdoors and in a well-lighted room ?

I strongly suggest the palm, mainly because of the wide range of free and cheap software available. Most ppc programs are expensive, and there is hardly any freeware for them.
