I have a 4700 and it has been replaced 3 times by hp already and now its sitting around doing nothing because since i got it back from hp the third time and it finally went out of warranty it still has the same issue. The screen stops responding and the only way i can get it to do anything is if i tap on it slightly. I thought something was loose so i took it upon myself to open it up. I work on laptops and things of those sorts for a living so im pretty familiar with small devices like that. It was put back together after i checked all the connections and all seems well. However the screen is still giving the same issue. I also realized that If i squeeze the device and try clicking on anything, it works. Maybe something wrong with the battery connections but it just locks up, not shutting down or anything. Please help because HP is horrible at supporting their devices.
