No Power Up on iPaq H2210

:mad: Hi help required I have a 3 year old iPAQ H2210 which I don't use very often some times the battery is flat when I come to use it and so have to charge it up using cradle.
Came to use it the other day there was no power up so put it on cradle to charge nothing happened, tried a different charger still nothing.
The PDA would not run off mains adapter either.
I wonder is the battery faulty requiring a new battery, if this is the case should the PDA still run of the mains adaptor or is there another fault.

Do a hard reset first, and also try removing the battery and put it back in, perhaps it's not seated and connected properly. If that still does not work, the battery is probably dead, you'll need a new one.

:) tried that still no good. do I take it then that with a dud battery it will not work off the mains adaptor either? :(
