Client Database

I am looking to create a fairly extensive client database for a small business. I was thinking of using File Maker Pro software... the owner of the business uses a PalmPilot Treo and already has a simple database created. I would like to make the database as accessible/simple for him as possible. Are the database capabilities of the Treo detailed enough or should I go ahead with File Maker Pro- and if so is it compatible with the Treo? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
