Hi.

Had my 2490 for 8 months, suddenly started losing power overnight, constantly having to rechardge it daily.

Also, hardly ever turns on now without me having to soft reset it.

Any ideas?

Do you have wifi or bluetooth on or have programs running overnight? If not, perhaps the battery is getting bad. You may need a new battery.

Thats what I was afraid of - but after only 8 months!

Dont have wifi running but will check on bluetooth.

Any ideas on the having to soft reset all the time?

Did you recently install any new software especially Today screen plug-in type?

Yes, have installed the spb software plug in.

Guess that might be a problem!

It could be. Today screen plug in can cause problem especially if there are too many of them running at the same time. Make sure you have the latest version for all of them or temporary disable them to see if the ipaq can get more stable.
