I once saw how to use your hotsync cradle for modem attachment, but can't now locate it. Can you help with the required modifications (pin outs, etc.)?

You will need a NULL Modem adapter, and depending on the modem maybe a 9-25 pin adapter.
Radio Shack is a good place to get then null modem, the cat. number is 26-264.
You just need to plug in the Null modem adapter at the end of the cradle's cable, then plug that into the modem.
This is assuming you are using a normal serial cradle and not a USB one.
