Hi everyone

First point refers specifically to browsing this forum with Opera v5.14 on the Psion. Is anyone else having problems with the adverts on the right-hand side obscuring scroll bars? It seems to be intermittent, and I've only noticed it fairly recently. I remember scroll bar handling being a bit poor in v3.62, but I thought they'd fixed it in the current version. Any thoughts, anyone?

Second point - how to eliminate the "this form is being submitted without encryption" warning? I'm sure I managed to get rid of it in v3.62, but I can't remember how! Brain cells depleting just too rapidly, I fear.

Browsing the forum OK at present Julie with NB, no adverts encroaching. I have trouble getting the zoom right and difficulty when I have load all images switched off though it makes reading a lot quicker but difficult to write replies and new posts.

Don't know how to get rid of the encryption mesage but would like too:-)

With the extra memory opera works well for me, though difficulty with epoc chat. I would like to read a little more about the menu features especially the preferences and how to tweak themto get better performance, any suggestions? My one immediate request would be for a keyboard solution to switch through the open windows in opera without having to use the menu bar.

Not sure this is the thread or the forum for this but I would love it if these messages boards could be read with a news reader like the google ones useing something like RMRnews it would make things a lot quicker and easier for offline browsing especially for those using mobiles ;-)

Check my FAQ for how to remove the insecure forms warning. Come on folks, u kno the drill :p

AS regards adverts, yes, I too occasionally find that the adverts on the RHS overlap the vertical scrollbar. One thing that sometimes helps is using Ctrl-T to force the screen to redraw. Watch out though, too many windows open and this will crash Opera :(

Soon as I get home I'm off to Yan FAQ too. till then in case its not there, any recomendations for the best Zoom setting and browing settings. I am finding it best to surf psionplace with the downward pointing arrow option in the middle box bottom left, seems to crash less and allows me to post replyies while the x in the box won't.

I know you had great difficulty trying to access EpocChat from your netBook the week before last, and I had similar problems too on that day. I'm hoping it was just an isolated occurrence - two of us used our netBooks on Sunday and had no problem at all - I was logged in for almost three hours without a hitch.

I've certainly never seen that type of problem before, so let's hope it was just a one-off. Perhaps you'd care to give it another try this Sunday? :)

Hope to be there this Sunday Julie. I have sussed a good way of surfing psionplace with a netbook. I load the first page with all images on and then after they are all cached switch to the veiw with the single arrow means something like show only cached images and then it all loads well and in the right place quickly :-)
