What is this Pocket PC 2003 Upgrade?

The HP site to "Upgrade and migrate" the HP iPAQ h3800 Pocket PC series at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=130&prodSeriesId=96481&prodTypeId=215348&objectID=c00041001 identifies an "HP iPAQ Pocket PC h3800, h3900, and h5400 series - Pocket PC 2003 Upgrade" dated 17 Feb 2007. I upgraded my iPaq 3835 to PPC 2003 some time ago, and I can't tell from their description whether this is something new. In Settings/About my device says it is running version 4.20.1081 (build 13100), and in Settings/Asset Viewer/Version it shows:

Product Revision Level: 2.0
ROM Date: 09/24/03
ROM Revision: 3.00.06 ENG
OS Version: Windows CE 4.20

AFAICT, the HP web page does not say whether it is going to this or a newer version. Does anyone know?

This is the instruction for the original ppc2003 upgrade that HP was selling, the same one you already did. There is no other new OS upgrade.

Thanks! I thought this might be the Second Edition upgrade. I know years ago there was discussion that HP wasn't offering it for some unexplained reason, and was hoping that had changed.

Does anyone have a copy of the upgrade from PPC 2002 to PPC3 for the compaq H3800 series? As everyone probably knows, HP no longer supply them

You can usually find it on Ebay. Search therer for ipaq 2003 upgrade.
