Hello:
This is my first post here, so I'm still trying to get the hang of this forum.
Recently my Brother's Clie t665c froze when it was set into the docking station. I tried to do a soft reset to fix this problem but it ddn't work. I tried a hard reset only to have that fail also. Has anyone had this problem before, and if they did how did they resolved it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Well I guess the thing started to work now.
I was working on my computer when I noticed that the green led had died on th e Clie, I thought to myself that the battery had finally died, and sure enough when I hit the power button it started right up. but died soon after. I put it back on the cradle to let it charge and now it's working nicely.
I noticed that when it was frozen up it acted like the hold feature on it was enabled, but yet I MADE SURE that it wasn't enabled. I do wonder if there is a bug in the Clie that causes hang ups like that.
If anyone has any similer problems like that, let me know, and if you did resolve it how did you do it?
Thanks!
Craig

Hi,
I don't know if this applies to a Clie, but when my Handspring Visor froze solid and nothing worked (even several hard resets) I discovered by chance that if you let the battery totally die (i.e. leave it on for a few days till there's absolutely no power) then recharge it, it came back to life.

Good to hear that its working fine now.
Just a little piece of advise regarding Li-Ion batteries in general. These batteries aren't happy when you allow them to drain or even reach a low level. Their lifespan shortens.
Make it a point to charge everyday, even if the battery level is at 90% or higher. This will keep them safe and happy, and will extend their life to the fullest.
