anyway to repair scratches?

I have a few scratches on my iPAQ screen and was just wondering if there was an inexpensive way I could fix these myself without having to replace the entire screen. They are no big deal, just annoying to look at and don't mess with the usability at all. If anyone has suggestions let me know. Thanks.

I recommend trying a clear, not satin finish, adhesive screen protector first. Some scratches are not visible once you apply a screen protector. These are now available retail where PPCs are sold, on many varieties via the web. The Palm IIIC ones will fit the iPAQ screen too.

I've used a small dab of toothpaste on a Q-Tip or /small\ amount of liquid car wax, but cannot vouch for how that would work on an iPAQ screen. You may end up with an abraded spot worse than the original scratch.
