Anyone:
know where to buy new key for a netbook to fit oneself?
know the best procedure for taking the keys off and replacing the and could describe it and / or point me to a website with pictures?

Thanks Yan, I should have thought to look there first. I have been there in the past but could not remember seeing this answer.

No worries Julie, I have just become a happy owner of a rather lovely new French netbook - hence the other posting about how to tell what hardware version of netbook one has as this is 2 months old and was wondering if it is the latest version - and some of the keys needed to be swapped around and the "A" was not working properly, and now with the english OS if I were a touch typer all would be fine as everything responds appropriatly but several of the keys like the whole top row of numbers have the "wrong" shift letters written on them and the ? is in a different place etc. etc. so I need some new keys or I need to learn to touch type, somehing I have been meaning to do for ages, and has been on my wish list - must add it to PSanta - for a while, a touch typing program that runs on a psion :-) Reading the postings on peoples feellings about secondhand netbooks and psions possible approach I wonder how they might feel about supporting me, I will ask, I am happy to pay :-) hopefully psion will be happy to take my money and support me - how about it Harvey :-) already treated me to a revo, thanks again teklogic, how about some new keys for Christmas :-)

Hi Mark

Have only just seen your question so apologies for the delay...Unlike the Series 5mx where the keys come in as separate items and are then etched at the point of manufacture, netBook keyboards come to us fully assembled and complete. As a result, we are unfortunately not able to offer spare keys individually. The only route available to you would be to get an entirely new keyboard.

Thanks for that Harvey. Hmmm well I guess I will have to learn to touch type.

Anyone able to say if they know of another computer which uses the same keys where I might be able to contact the manufacturer for a set?
