According to Palm, the m130 is a "fun start." I, of course, have gone through an olf Viosr Deluxe, it exploded. So it wouldn't be a start...
Who recomends the m130? Who doesn't? Any alternatives? How does it compare to the SJ20 from SONY?
Cheap (for a color PDA), The universal Adapter gives you lots of options and then if you upgrade to m515 the accessories go with you. And yes, it is fun. I had a Vx and a IIIc. I also don't like the m505 much either. If I had the money, the m515 would be great, but I do love my m130

I was given a visor D for my birthday and after several problems, traded it in for cash. There was a great sale on the m130 that week so I bought it. I had done some recearch and played around in some one else's m130. I dicided I liked it.
It was the only color model I could afford, so I bought it.
Have had great fun with it and would not go back to monochrone again. I was also surprised by the software bundle. It includes Docs-to-go, photosuit, and palm reader.
Love my m130

I like my m130. A colour PDA at an affordible price. It doesn't compare to the Psion 5mx I was using previously though but then Psion are no longer making PDA's and the 5mx suffers from fabled screen cable breakage. I did a lot of research before buying my m130 and decided it looked like the best available in the price range I was looking at. I don't like the sound of Pocket PC machines therefore I didn't even consider any of these but instead checked out the PDA's using the Palm OS.
