Hi

Just got an IPAQ hx2490 and I have two questions.

1) When I created a partnership between the handheld and my desktop, the wizard gave it a name I do not like. Can I rename this partnership?

2) I remember seing somewhere a utility that allows the handheld to be controled from the PC when connected. Does anybody remember whqat this is?

Another thing. When I browse my IPAQ using Explorer/ActiveSync, the Windows folder is hidden. Any ideas how I can make it visible?

Also, how can I set detailed sound propertise such as bass boost and microphone sensitivety?

The setting is in desktop File Explorer (Tools - Folder Options - View) set to show all files and not hide OS files.

Hi AnswerDude

No IPAQ Audio on my IPAQ hx2490!

I managed to pair the thing with my Nokisa 6310i. How can I use it to send SMS? Does the built-in messaging support this? I've tried easySMS (http://pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=576) but no joy.

Then you have to reply on 3rd party application that provides these audio function such as GSPlayer for audio player.
There are also several commercial SMS applications you can try, search for them on softwares stores such as Pocketgear or Handango.
