I'm hearing a click coming from the speaker in my E125 at the beginning of sound events or at the very beginning of audio playback. Just happens for a moment, but sounds like a power surge to the speaker prior to playback. Any ideas how to remedy this?

Common problem with many Casio's specially if it is
happening with all sound files.
You can get it fixed through an authorized service centre.

If it's only some sound files then it could be an encoding issue
when the file was created.

Wow!

I didn't know that that was common with a 2000 OS, that's new to me.

I know that the 2002 (any) models had that problem?

Good luck on getting that fixed wdonegan, and keep us posted?

Clarification. I said Casio's.
I did not mention OS 2000 in anyway.
The popping is hardware/software related if it is the unit
itself and not the original sound file being the problem.
This is why I said Casio. :-)
Hope this makes sense.
At the end of the day, the Casio's did not have a flash ROM
therefore you cannot fix it just by getting a service pack
software fix. :-)

I did notice you said Casio, I didn't know that was common with the Casio's that uses the 2000OS.

Hopefully he finds the answers to the link you posted, thanks!
