Hello -
I am having problems with my M5's screen freezing on occasion- the buttons on the bottom work, but alas, that doesn't really get me where I want to go.
Before I spend the $175 for Garmin to fix it, I thought I'd ask if anyone using an M5 had similar problems. It seems to happen when the darn thing gets too warm or if I use it in pda mode too long on an airplane.
Everytime I get ready to pitch it against the wall, it comes to life. So I keep it and worry it will once again fail in time of need. Replacing it is $$ and repairing it is scary as it will probably work for the repair tech. I have replaced the battery twice in almost 2 years thinking that is the problem, but I think I am fooling myself.
Any pearls of wisdom for me?
