ipaq 3870 bluetooth and radio

How is the "radio" activated in my ipaq using bluetooth....or is it that I have to acquire a"physical" interface radio card or something before there is any radio. What do I do??

What do you mean by radio?

A bluetooth card is a wireless networking interface.
Therefore you set the device(PDA) like any other networking
device.

Then when a compatible network connection is detected, the
bluetooth on your device with function.
As long as the network or other bluetooth device is configured
to communicate with each other.
