GPS Software for WM5

I have a WM5 device a O2 EXEC XDA
With a blue tooth gps receiver
I do use it with Iguidance and it works fine.

What I am looking for is a program that would work out in the woods walking.
Something that would tell me how many feet from this point to this point.
Something I can mark a begining point and walk to another point and along the way figure out how far back from that first point i am...

Anything free is great.
If not let me know some names of software that would work..
