Ports

At home, I only have Dial-up access. When I am connected to the Internet and I try to start HotSync Manager, I get the error "The selected prot, COM3, is not available at this time. HotSync Manager will open the port when it becomes available.". Or, if I have HotSync running, I cannot connect to the Internet.

I don't know how to manage ports on my laptop.

When I open the Palm Desktop and click on the HotSync menu and choose Setup, then the Modem tab, there is only COM3 available. I would think that would be where I could change it so that HotSync would use a different port than does my Dial-up Internet connection.

Any wise words for how I can do both at the same time---perform a HotSync and be conncected to the Internet on my laptop at the same time?
