Syncing Treo to Palm Desktop

I received a Treo 650 and would like to sync my Palm desktop with the Treo. The Treo did not come with a software disc. I blieve the TX and Treo are both OS5. So my question is...Can I hot sync the Treo to the Desktop with existing connections or do I need to do more.

If more is needed where can I get good info?
